Proso millet (Panicum miliaceum) a specific type of staple food popular in India and other parts of the world. There was no significant work on the commercial exploitation in the value addition of proso millet products. Hence, a study was conducted to produce pasta from clean and polished proso millet blended with wheat flour and water under different combinations. Also with a view to improve the shelf life of pasta by packaging interventions, the effect of LDPE and PP usage on the sensory, physico-chemical and biochemical quality of pasta during three months of storage at ambient atmosphere condition was studied. Pasta prepared under equal proportions of millet and wheat flour got maximum overall acceptance in the sensory panel and the rate of loss of most quality attributes was low in pasta stored under LDPE samples as compared to samples packaged under PP. Based on the results obtained in the study it was concluded that pasta could be best preserved up to 3 months at ambient atmospheric condition under LDPE without appreciable quality loss. Keywords

Jaggery is a specific type of sugar popular in India derived from sugarcane juice. A study was conducted to evaluate jaggery quality by packaging jaggery in different material and packaging conditions. The results revealed that, the best packaging material for storing jaggery in ambient atmosphere was triple layered vacuum packaging material followed by double layer and single layer material. The change in total colour, sucrose content, hardness, reducing sugar content, moisture content, porosity and microbial load in jaggery were observed to be very minimum in jaggery packaged under vacuum in triple layer material. Not much variation was observed in the ash content at the end of storage period. Further, the jaggery product stored under the above condition had scored highest values in the sensory evaluation. Keywords

Minor millets are highly nutritious products and also most neglected food material in major parts of the world. Kodo millet is one among them which is very rich in carbohydrate and crude fibre. Hence, a research study was conducted to develop pasta from processed kodo millet blended with wheat flour and water under different combinations and also to determine effect of LDPE and PP packaging materials on sensory, physico-chemical and biochemical quality of millet based pasta during storage. The kodo millet based pasta prepared under variable proportions of millet and wheat flour attained maximum overall acceptance in the sensory panel and physicochemical and biochemical tests concludes, rate of loss of most quality attributes was low in samples stored under LDPE as compared to samples in PP. The negligible quality change recommends the use of LDPE to achieve longer storage life of pasta under ambient condition. Keywords

The elimination of batteries in mobile robots attracts considerable attention in the field of robotics. The process of exclusion of batteries brings up economical reduction in cost, weight, recharging time and total working time of the robots. This system finds a way for the continuous operation of a mobile robot. The present study shows a new trend of drive system for autonomous vehicle operating on a continuous energy supplied with no batteries and wires. In this proposed system, the power transmission is actively done through a high power transmitter antenna coil and a receiver coil embedded in the autonomous vehicle. The drive system of the robot receives the energy from the receiver coil which acquires the energy through wireless from the transmitter coil. From the result of received energy, the designed spy robot has operated wide a distance of 100 cm with out any fluctuations. The efficiency of the energy obtained from the transmitter coil is around 60%. The maximum distance that the energy transmitted is up to 240cm with a fall in output voltage. The obtained result is tabulated.

This paper presents an agent-based and context-oriented approach that supports the composition of Web services. A Web service is an accessible application that other applications and humans can discover and invoke to satisfy multiple needs. To reduce the complexity featuring the composition of Web services, two concepts are put forward, namely, software agent and context. A software agent is an autonomous entity that acts on behalf of users and the context is any relevant information that characterizes a situation. During the composition process, software agents engage in conversations with their peers to agree on the Web services that participate in this process. Conversations between agents take into account the execution context of the Web services. The security of the computing resources on which the Web services are executed constitutes another core component of the agent-based and context-oriented approach presented in this paper. Keywords

This paper facilitates the techniques to be used with the images that cannot be misused by unauthorized users. This method is to provide the security for images by using key concepts. The Invisible Watermarking concept is used for secret message and images to send one node to another node with a private key. A package is developed to attain the above said technology. This package is mainly applicable for a software company which focuses on how to secure the data from the hackers while transferring the information. It gives controlled redundancy, data independence, more accuracy and integrity, privacy and security and also a good performance. Keywords

Computing methodology is one of the emerging technologies for the people to reach their global environment. The method of voting through mobile by the people, to determine their own government from any where in the world, is needed. This paper explains on “Voting through Mobile, with Combined Finger Print Authentication, integrated with Inter Could Computing and Automated Load Balancing, fused with Data Hiding Security”. To make it possible, vote can be made through mobile by using wireless network with combined finger print biometric identification systems. We advocate Spatial Cloud Computing to focuses on adding geography to the cloud computing paradigm. Spatial cloud computing provides dynamically scalable geographic information technology, spatial data, and geo-applications as a web service / utility. A data hiding method, which is applicable to fingerprint images compressed with wavelet-based scheme and provide full security for biometric data that is passed through the network from different places. This combined method creates a new evaluation of process with 100% security, 100% privacy & 100% voting by any kind of people from anywhere. Keywords

Experiments on Electro Discharge Machining (EDM) have been carried out taking into consideration the critical input parameters like current, pulse-on, pulse-off etc., and varying them in the mathematical model developed using Design of Experiments (DOE). Statistical tools are used for the analysis of the experimental results and the effects of valuations of these critical input parameters have been investigated. Attempts have been made to suggest good and balanced combinations of parameters to be used to get a product with superior quality.- Shop Floor Control Using a Computer Aided System

The process of shop floor control is an important and necessary task that has to be performed by managers in every organization. The work presented in this paper has been carried with an on-line interaction with the industry that has been engaged in the manufacture of various hydraulic components. It has been observed that conventionally all the activities related to shop floor control are being executed manually. Considering the problems associated with the manual control and large number of variables/parameters and their interdependency, a need has been felt to develop a computer-aided system, which would simplify the process of shop floor control. The work has been aimed to generate an integrated process-planning chart, to design a systematic database, to generate job card and inspection report with the help of inputs from process plan and to generate other useful outputs such as status report, performance report etc. It is possible to have online real-time status. Scope of present work can be extended for the calculations of the cost for individual operations and subsequently cost of the entire project. The entire system has been developed using simple and commonly available software tools. It has been observed and proved that, the shop floor could derive a great advantage from the present system.- Investigation Study on Energy Efficient Routing Techniques in Wireless Sensor Network

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) are infrastructure less network where sensor nodes are deployed with limited power, computational capacity and memory. WSN collects the information from sensed node. Routing in WSN is a demanding one for identifying the path to perform data transmission. Routing is a higher-level decision making that transmits the network packets from source to destination through intermediate sensor nodes. Researchers carried out their work on energy efficient routing techniques in WSN with help of clustering techniques. But, the packet delivery ratio was not improved and energy consumptionnot reduced. In order to address these problems, the existing routing techniques are reviewed in this paper.
